Lindsay Young is a composer based in Los Angeles. In addition to composing, Young releases music for her artist project, Lindsay Ruth.

Young most recently scored the film Mal Culo, which premiered at the Austin Film Festival in 2024. She has also composed for Slut, which was selected for the Los Angeles Women In Film Festival in 2023. Accolades of Young have been “Best Song” for the short film Blurred in the 48 Hour Film Project in 2021 as well as "Best Sound Design" in 11:11. She was nominated for "Best Score" in both the Los Angeles and San Diego 48 Hour Film Project. She has had her work featured on Lifetime's Secret Life of a Sorority Girl and ESPN. Young continues to compose for Film and TV as well as licensing and ad opportunities.

Lindsay’s desire is to help tell stories that enlighten and embolden. Her haunting melodies and love of intimate vocals and soundscapes are inviting yet thought-provoking.
